Sohail Sarang received a B.E degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan in 2014, and M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia in 2018. He was awarded a fully-funded Prime Minister's National ICT Scholarship from the Government of Pakistan and a Graduate Assistantship from UTP, Malaysia for his bachelor's and master's studies, respectively. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie ITN doctoral fellowship, funded by the European Union (EU). Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Previously, he was engaged as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher in the AQUASENSE project (Oct-2019 to Oct-2022), which received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program (https://www.aquasense-itn.com/). Currently, he works as a Researcher within the framework of the ERA Chair STRENTEX Project, which has received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program (https://strentexproject.com/).
